Description
The Mountmaster 4-12×50 AO IR is part of the Nikko Stirling riflescope series designed to offer reliability and precision at a competitive price.
The 4-12× zoom allows for great versatility: lower magnifications for quick target acquisition and higher magnifications for more precise long-range shots. The 50mm objective lens ensures good light gathering and bright images even in low light conditions.
The AO (Adjustable Objective) system allows you to adjust parallax directly on the objective lens, improving target clarity and shooting accuracy at different distances.
The 1″ (25.4 mm) aluminum body is designed to withstand the toughest conditions. The optics are waterproof, fog-proof, and shock-resistant, thanks to nitrogen filling.
The strong point of these optics is the HMD (Half Mil-Dot) reticle.
✔ Half Mil-Dot Reticle
The reticle uses partial MIL dots that allow you to:
estimate target distance
compensate for bullet drop
correct for wind drift.
This system is very useful for shooting at variable distances.
✔ Red and Green Illumination
The reticle is illuminated with dual color (red or green) to improve visibility of the aim point in low light conditions or on dark targets.
✔ Second Focal Plane (SFP)
The reticle is positioned in the second focal plane, so it maintains constant dimensions regardless of the zoom.
